Air Conditioner Fin Molds
- This type of mold is suitable for household air conditioners, central air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and other equipment.
- It is compatible with aluminum foils of different specifications and thicknesses both at home and abroad. (For example: When the mold uses 0.095mm-thick aluminum foil, the flanging height of the 9.52 mold can reach 3.0mm, and that of the 7 mold can reach 2.2mm.)
- All steel materials adopted are from Japan or Sweden, and the cutting edge materials are ASP30 or HAP40. The mold is convenient for maintenance and use, with excellent part interchangeability. All standard parts (including guide pillars, guide bushes, springs, screws, etc.) are Japanese MISUMI products. The stamping speed can reach 250-330 times per minute.

Basic Mold Structure
Stamping Process:
Drawing → Punching & Drawing → Forming → Flanging → Edge Trimming → Longitudinal Cutting → Feeding → Transverse Cutting Unit
Drawing: The drawing height is adjusted via MISUMI adjusters (made in Japan) on the mold, with each drawing step independently adjustable. Forming is completed in the final drawing process.
Punching & Drawing: When the punch slider descends, punching is completed first, followed by drawing as the slider continues to lower.
The punching sub-mold adopts an independent guide pillar and bushing structure, ensuring forming precision and service life while facilitating maintenance and replacement of punching punches and dies.
A sealing device is added to the upper template of the punching & drawing station to prevent air leakage and avoid affecting scrap discharge.
A replaceable base plate is installed on the lower punching die to prevent dents on the main template after long-term production, fully protecting the service life of the lower template. In case of die burst damaging the base plate or unclear fin double-eye rings, only the base plate needs to be simply replaced.
The scrap discharge holes on the lower template must be free of chamfers to ensure smooth scrap removal.
The dimension and concentricity of punching punches and dies are controlled within 0.002mm, ensuring excellent interchangeability of parts.
The punching punch is equipped with air holes in both horizontal and vertical directions for lubrication and cleaning. Meanwhile, an automatic oil mist lubrication device is adopted to ensure forced scrap discharge.
Heat Pipe Hole Forming: When the punch slider descends, punching is completed first; a sealing device is added to the upper template of the punching station to prevent air leakage and avoid affecting scrap discharge; the dimension and concentricity of heat pipe hole punches and dies are controlled within 0.002mm, ensuring excellent interchangeability of parts; the punching punch is equipped with air holes in both horizontal and vertical directions for lubrication and cleaning, and an automatic oil mist lubrication device is adopted to ensure forced scrap discharge.
Flanging: The flanging height can be arbitrarily adjusted via MISUMI adjusters (made in Japan) on the mold.
Edge Trimming: Adopts an independent structure to trim excess edges, with a special anti-scrap bouncing design, maximizing the service life and efficiency of the cutting edge.
While edge trimming is performed, the formed holes are guided and corrected to eliminate lateral displacement of fins.
The guiding sub-mold adopts a rigid (or elastic) stripping design, ensuring high guiding precision and preventing hole damage. The guiding punches are all installed by passing directly through the punch fixing plate from the upper template, facilitating convenient and reliable disassembly and assembly during maintenance.
Longitudinal Cutting: Upper and lower blades are used to cut fins into any number of rows. The upper longitudinal cutting blade adopts a quick-change pull rod structure to realize rapid adjustment of fin rows. In the design of corrugated longitudinal cutting, the company's original anti-deformation technology after corrugated longitudinal cutting is added. The upper and lower blades are universally interchangeable, with reasonable clearance ensured to achieve seamless strip cutting without burrs.
Feeding: The feeding method adopts the current optimal traction type, where tiny grippers on the mold extend into the formed holes to pull the material forward (via connecting rods on the mold and punch press). The feeding fingers are made of SKD11 material, and oil-free self-lubricating copper sleeves are added between the feeding fingers and the fixing plate to avoid inaccurate positioning of the feeding finger fixing part after long-term traction movement, ensuring long-term and high-speed production of the mold.
Straight Transverse Cutting: The transverse cutting of fins in the length direction is realized through the cylinder, solenoid valve and electrical control circuit on the punch press.
The transverse cutting part adopts an oil-free lubrication method, with the oil-free lubrication contact surface maximized. The front part of the transverse cutting station is equipped with an independent adjusting mechanism for each row to adjust the fin bending degree, which is more conducive to the adjustment of the air suction and receiving system and achieves higher-speed stamping. Meanwhile, the punched fins are flatter, facilitating subsequent processes. The transverse cutting can be moved by half a step pitch, with front and rear fine-tuning devices. Due to the accurate positioning of the transverse cutting sub-mold and simple adjustment of the front and rear positions, there is no phenomenon of hole collision during cutting.
