What Is A Finned Punch Press Die?

Oct 19, 2025

Fin stamping dies are a type of progressive stamping die, primarily used for precision stamping of materials such as aluminum strip, copper strip, and stainless steel to produce heat dissipation components for refrigeration, home appliances, and industrial equipment. Their core function is to manufacture high-precision fins through high-speed stamping processes (up to 300 times/minute), thereby improving heat exchange efficiency. Based on application, they can be categorized into air conditioner fin dies, high-flanged fin dies, refrigerator fin dies, and custom-made dies. Air conditioner dies are compatible with 0.09-0.6mm aluminum foil, while high-flanged dies support forming adjustments of over 6mm and employ a crack-resistant structure.

The dies utilize  and are equipped with MISUMI standard parts, offering advantages in parts interchangeability. The design incorporates three-dimensional structural optimization and a circulating water cooling system to shorten injection molding time, and utilizes intelligent technology to improve stamping accuracy to within 5µm.
