Maintenance And Upkeep Of Heat Exchanger Bending Machines

Oct 11, 2025

Before performing machine tool maintenance or cleaning, align the upper die with the lower die, lower the machine, and turn it off. Continue this process until work is completed. If starting the machine or performing other operations is required, select manual mode and ensure safety. Maintenance procedures are as follows:

1. Hydraulic Oil Circuit

1) Check the oil level in the tank weekly. Also check after hydraulic system maintenance. If the oil level is below the oil window, add hydraulic oil.

2) The hydraulic oil used in this machine is ISO HM46 or MOBIL DTE25.

3) Change the oil after 2000 hours of operation for a new machine. Thereafter, change the oil every 4000-6000 hours of operation. Clean the oil tank each time you change the oil.

4) The system oil temperature should be between 35℃ and 60℃, and should not exceed 70℃. Excessive temperature will cause deterioration and damage to the oil and components.

2. Filters

1) Replace or thoroughly clean the filter each time you change the oil.

2) Replace the filter if the machine alarms or the oil is dirty, or if other filter abnormalities occur.

3) Inspect and clean the air filter on the oil tank every 3 months, and ideally replace it every year.

3. Hydraulic Components

1) Clean hydraulic components (base plate, valves, motors, pumps, oil pipes, etc.) monthly to prevent dirt from entering the system. Do not use cleaning agents.

2) After one month of use, check all bends in the oil pipes for deformation. Replace any deformed pipes. After two months of use, tighten all connections. This work should be done with the machine off and the system depressurized.
